The Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is now a requirement for all properties in the Private Rented Sector (PRS) and a copy should be provided to tenants at Check-in. It is also useful for those buying or selling a property to asses if the electrical wiring and accessories are safe or if some remedial action is required.
